Geoffrey is the Chief Executive Officer of the Sterno Group and a member of its Board of Directors.
Prior to joining Sterno, Geoffrey served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Writing Business Unit of Newell Brands. In this role, he oversaw the Americas with $1.8 billion of retail sales and its highly admired brands which included Sharpie, Elmer’s, and PaperMate among others. Over the six years that Geoffrey led the Writing Business, the team achieved record share, revenue, and profitability; delivered an innovation platform that achieved over $100M in annual retail sales; overhauled internal processes to deliver the service requirements of its retail partners; and improved employee ownership, accountability, and engagement.
Before his time at Newell Brands, Geoffrey spent thirteen years at Kraft Heinz where he started as an Associate Brand Manager at Oscar Mayer in 2004 and ultimately became SVP and Head of Sales - Walmart where he was responsible for $5.5 billion of retail sales across Kraft Heinz’s five divisions. Prior to working in brand management at Kraft, Geoffrey worked in private equity at William Blair Capital Partners and in investment banking at Goldman Sachs.
Geoffrey received both his MBA (‘04) and his Bachelor of Arts (‘98) from the University of Michigan.
